Musha.

Musha, Japanese Izakaya, Torrance.

a place we frequent for birthdays, gatherings.. drinking + just all around good food. this visit was just b and me.. so we didn’t order any table BBQ.. but we got into a few of my other favorites.

my FAVORITE starter. cheese tofu. toasted baguette, creamy tofu cheese spread ( taste is very light) drizzle of honey. perfection. i can eat the entire thing myself..

asari clam soup. clear broth. ginger and green onion. light and flavorful.

pork belly stew. chunks of braised potatoes, fatty pork belly, and yellow wasabi for a kick.

musha chicken. juicy with crispy skin. always eaten paste of green yuzu pepper for a citrus spicy tang.

the “TKU.” tarako kimchi udon. my regular order pasta dish here, pan fried dry, tons of flavor from tarako + the kimchee. chewy udon noodles topped with shiso. the flavor combination in this dish is amazing.
